UNIMED Mental Health Resource (Inc) was founded on the backdrop of a true story that mental health is a disease, that it is real and does not discriminate. The organization was named after a young man whose dreams of becoming a mechanical engineer was shattered by mental illness.
Our residential treatment center, BETHEL, provides a safe space where persons with substance abuse and mental health conditions are treated, rehabilitated, and empowered with skills to return to their communities as valued citizens.
